D. Woodruff in deed records and such. He died 26 September 1937 in Liverpool (Brazoria County) and was buried at Glenwood Cemetery in Houston. A very well-researched in-depth article on him (written by J. W. Moore) appears in the 400-plus page The History of Liverpool, Texas, and Its People (1996, Liverpool History Book Committee). Copies are available from the Brazoria County Historical Museum's "Windows Book and Gift Shop" (e-mail: [email protected]).
