In the name of God Amen. I Martha Malone of the County of Trigg and State of Kentucky being advanced in age but of sound mind and memory and calling to mind the uncertainty of this life do make and declare the following to be my last will and testament that is to say I will and direct that my just debts and funeral expenses shall be paid out of my estate and after the payment of my debts and funeral expenses I give and bequeath unto my son Thomas D. Malone on undivided eighth of all negroes bequeathed to me by my late husband Booth Malone deceased with their increase. I give and bequeath unto my daughter Susan Travis one eighth part of all of said negroes and to my granddaughter Catherine Spencer late CatherineÙCuÙD ÙC/uÙDFarror I give and bequeath one third of one eighth of all of said negroes after the payment or satisfaction of the above specified bequests or legacies. I will that the record (or residue) of my estate of every description shall be sold and the proceeds thereof equally divided amongst the residue of my children and grandchildren in such manner as they would be entitled to had I not made this my last will and testament. I do hereby release each of my children from the payment of all demands of every description which I may have against any and all of them of every character whatever hereby revoking all other or former wills and testaments by me at any time heretofore made. In witness whereof have hereunto set my hand this 25 August 1854.

I Alfred B. Dyer Clerk of the Trigg County Court (acting for County Judges) law(?). I did this day state and settle the a/c(?) Thomas D. Malone Admin of Martha Malone decd (in lieu of County Judge) as set forth above. I charged him with $125(?) found to be(?) in his hands on last settlement and him ___by payments made to the above parties ( ___ ___ Farrer ___ 26.04) yet in his hands and by 4$ for this settlement which ___ over paid by him after he pays Farries heirs the sum over paid $4.00 this 11 Sept 1864.
