Stafford County Courthouse records showing that Burr Harrison Senior had a son named Burr were not found until 1984. Prior to that everyone stretched Burr Sen's death date to cover documents involving the son.

1699 - Received Deep Hole Plantation at the death of his wife Lettice Green who had received it in her mother Ann Scarlet Green's Will Written 16th of February 1698 Proved 12th day of October, 1698 "Approx. 2000 Acres from the mouth of Neabsco at the Potomac to the Chopawamsic at the Potomac near Woodbridge Courthouse named Deep Hole Plantation as part of an original land grant for 6,000 acres from her 2nd husband Martin Scarlet III."

1699 Encounter with Piscataway Indians by Eugene ScheelThe first Burr Harrison's oldest son, Col. Thomas Harrison would become the first justice and militia head of Prince William County in 1732, and his son, also Thomas Harrison, would hold those honors in Fauquier after the county's formation in 1759. Monterey, purchased by Thomas Harrison in 1765, has remained in the family. Burr Harrison's second son, emissary Burr Harrison, ca. 1668-ca. 1715, was the junior member of the party that visited the Piscataway. His name, entered as "Bur Harison," appears after that of "Giles Vanderasteal" in the April 21, 1699, report of their findings to Nicholson.

1702 Smith Orphans Parents: Edward & Lettis Smith Children: William, Edward & Katherine. Quote: "By her first husband Lettis had three children: William, Edward and Catherine. After his remarriage, Burr (Harrison) petitioned to be appointed guardian of the Smith orphans. Later he posted a bond of 30,000 pounds of tobacco for the management of the children's share of the estate of their maternal grandmother. p34 Book:' Five Generations of the Family of Burr Harrison of Virginia, 1650-1800' Author: John P. 1709 - Burr was involved in an estate appraisal for Deep Hole: p40. Stafford County, Virginia Records (Last mention of Burr in the court records as the books for the following years have been lost 1709-1721)
1715 - Either Burr died intestate or just didn't leave Jane anything for some reason. Lettice's part 1,928 Acres of Deep Hole Plantation, Woodbridge, Stafford County, Virginia was acquired for one ear of Indian corn by Jane's husband John Robert Calvert in 1724 by the "Proprietors of the Northern Neck" which were Janes half siblings.
