Edward Mosby

Bio:
Edward was born around 1665, likely in Charles City County in the Colony of Virginia.
He married Sarah Woodson around 1688 and by 1704 they were living on about 150 acres in Henrico County. He was a carpenter and a farmer.
Edward was also a Quaker and helped build the Curles Meeting House in 1701.
Shortly after the death of his wife Sarah, Edward married Mary Watkins on 8 January 1717. She was the widow of Henry Watkins. Edward & Mary had no children together.
In 1722, he was contracted to build the new meeting house in White Oak Swamp. In the meantime, they held the monthly meetings at his house. By July 1724, per a letter of condemnation, Edward was disowned by the Society of Friends.
Edward died before May 1742 in Henrico County.
