ONE OF OLDEST MEN OF MARSHALL COUNTY DIES; VALUED CITIZEN. The funeral of Daniel Washburn, who died at his home at Olive, Marshall County, Tuesday, was held at the Baptist Church Wednesday, the Rev. Mr. Henson officiating. Burial took place in the family graveyard at Olive, Wednesday afternoon. Mr. Washburn was one of the oldest residents of Marshall County and would have been 89 years old next May. He was a thorough Christian worker and was a great force for good in the community. He was a widower, his wife having died 18 months ago. The deceased is survived by four daughters, Mrs. T. D. Leonard of Little Cypress, Mrs. D. Miller of Olive, Mrs. M. C. Jones of Benton, Mrs. John Bryan of Paducah, and one son, D. O. Washburn of Olive.
