1681 Robert, husband of Mary, died intestate before 2 May 1681, on whichdate Mary Edwards, his relict, presents to the Court, the Inventory ofhis estate and requests administration. (WB2, 2170 The appraisement ofhis estate (wb2, PG 245) takes place 9 Jul 1685 One Hundred Acre s ofland is listed, the land he bought of Palmer. A final settlement of theestate between the three daughters takes place in 1694, when he isrecorded as Dr. Robert Edwards. This Robert left no sons, his threedaughters were co-heiresses. The daughters were Margaret, Judith (namedafter her grandmother Judith Hunt), and Mary. Mary married James Bragg,1694, and he having come into one third of the land by this marriage,later buys the other two thirds from the two sisters, as show by deeds.(db 1, PG 131) The three sisters.
