Martin was a Mennonite Minister. He came to America and settled in Germantown, PA., in 1707. He moved to Skippack, Montgomery County, PA., in 1709.

Weaver and trustee at Skippack Came to America with his brothers in 1707 and Settled at Germantown, Pennsylvania He married Magdalena, daughter of Isaac Van Sintern and Neeltje Claasen, and great-great-granddaughter of Jan de Voss, Burgermaster in Flanders, in 1550. Martin moved to Skippack in 1709, and was ordained to the ministry in the Mennonite Church and served at Germantown, and at Skippack as soon as an organization was established there. His signature also appears on the deed of the Mennonite Church at Germantown as a witness. He was of the first trustees, with others, who held the property of the Mennonite Church at the Skippack in trust for many years.

REV. MARTIN KOLB born about 1680 in Germany, and died 1761 in what is now Montgomery Co, PA (age 81). He married MARIA MARY MAGDALENA VAN SINTERN on 19 May 1709 and resided in Skippack, in what is now Montgomery Co, daughter of ISAAC VAN SINTERN and NEELTJE CLAASSEN. Martin arrived in America with his grandfather, Peter Schumacher aboard the "Frances and Dorothy" on 12 Oct 1685.
