7 Feb., 1735 - Isaac first appears in the records of Spotsylvania County, VA purchasing 200 acres of land, a part of a patent granted to John Chew on 4 Jun., 1726.
1 Mar., 1742 - Isaac brought suit in Chancery in Spots. Co., VA against Francis Thornton, Gent., to deliver up Isaac's 1/3 share of the estate of David Darnall decd., and got judgement. (It is said in another source that the suit was against Larkin Chew, Gent.). (Spots. Co. Court Orders, p 208) The heirs of the other 2/3 were Abraham and Jacob.
5 Jul., 1743 - Isaac was appointed guardian of Aphia Roy, orphan of James Roy.
3 Oct., 1757 - Isaac Darnall conveyed 50 acres in St. George's Parish to his son Henry Darnall.
25 Nov., 1760 - Isaac sold the remaining 150 acres of land to Nicholas Darnall of Caroline Co., VA.
1 Aug., 1767 - Isaac gave his stepson, James Frazier, a bill of sale for goods and chattels, said Frazier standing as Darnall's security to George Stubblefield. Witnesses were Molly Darnall.
