Hospital E. R. in Benton, KY. He was a retired Truck Driver, Farmer and Businessman. Born Wednesday, September 5, 1928 in Sugar Tree, TN., he was the son of the late Fred Kirsh Cotham Sr. and the late Helen Lucille (Daughrity) Cotham. Surviving are his wife and constant companion of 63 years, Thressa LaRue (Stringer) Cotham of Benton, KY. He was a loving father to two daughters, Teresa Diane Temple, husband Byford of Benton, KY and Donita Jo Cotham, husband Casey Mooneyham of Benton, KY., three grandchildren, Tyler Temple, Trace Temple and Sydney Temple all of Benton, KY. Also surviving are one brother, Harvey Nixon Cotham of Benton, KY., two sisters, Martha Ann Forrest of Calvert City, KY., and Doris Lucille Garrido of El Hambre, CA. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Lewis Cotham and Joe Allen Cotham Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 23, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of the Collier Funeral Home in Benton. Mark Ray, Doug Lyles and Dwaine Baker officiating. Interment will follow the service in Haltom Cemetery, Benton, KY. Visitation will be held at Collier Funeral Home between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 22, 2014.
