      [p 13: On February 14, 1844 Anna Davis, 76, of Hopkins County, gave an affidavit supportive of the marriage of Elizabeth Wright to Titus Fox; and of the service of Titus in the Revolution. She states that during the time the veteran was living with the affiant's Father, the veteran was gone 3 months to serve in the war; that the veteran was married on August 25th, 1780 shortly before the Battle of Kings Mountain. That the veteran's first child was born about 18 months after his marriage. She signed her affidavit with her mark.]
