Unity Croshaw married Colonel John West by 1664, and as a result of the marriage and the early death of Joseph Croshaw's intended heir, the Croshaw plantation at "Poplar Neck" passed to John West. Unity died after 30 October 1693, when she relinquished dower in "Poplar Neck". Called Ursula Croshaw West in most 19th and 20th-century publications, but Unity West in original documents. I have never found her to be listed as Sarah Anne West! Can you tell me where you found her name listed as such? Martha Contributor: 46890409 Suggested edit: My husband I spent hours today in Jamestown, the original settlement where after years and years of research and excavating, there is no evidence to support that Anne West Fox was buried there. She wasn't a part of the original Jamestown colony nor was her husband, Henry Fox. We talked with workers there and they provided some evidence to support that Anne isn't buried there.
